Hound's Quest

In the land of  Asher, during the summer season, a strange disturbance is felt throughout the land. The noble king, Goodman, calls forth his two greatest allies to aid him in understanding what is happening, all the while his young son, Gauis, and his faithful companion, as well as his daughter, Grace, are enjoying life as usual. However, the peace of their lives will soon be shattered when the incarnation of malice and enmity comes forth to kidnap the princess, all the while threatening to engulf the land in eternal darkness if the four sacred treasures within the continent are obtained and then delivered to a shadowy castle which hovers menacingly above King Goodman's Castle. Who will save the princess from her fate? 

Why, you, of course! 

As the faithful companion of the princess, and guardian of the people, it will fall onto your furry shoulders to see to the princess' safety, and the recovery of these lost treasures, all the while the forces of light and darkness, play a strange game in the background. Will they be of aid or hinderance to you? 

That answer may change your fate entirely, if you so let it.

     This game is a 2D fantasy game in the style of the early Dragon Quest games made for the casual audience who would like to sit down and enjoy a short adventure in a fantastical land. 

This is a very small game that I made in honor of the original Dragon Quest, those who are familiar with that game will notice a number of similarities, however, I put my own spin on the idea, and thus have made it so that instead of their being only one good ending and one bad ending, there will be three endings. How good or bad they are, that will depend on your perspective, as in  a crisis the involves the life of a innocent woman, what depths should someone go to in order to secure her safety? After all, heroes are meant to sacrifice their all for the sake of others, are they not?
