Since as early as you can remember you have been on your out on your own, not exactly on the streets, but no less burdened by the troubles of life. Your past moments before then, wonderful and sweet as they were, seem almost like a distant memory as you sold everything you had across the Rungar Empire, however, after joining up with a small band of other misfits you were able to gain the kind of wealth needed to slowly pull yourself up out of your unfortunate circumstances, hence the current moment. One big score, the likes of which can see you finally 'retire' from the life of crime that had been you teenage years, and all you needed to do was to get to a desert country. Simple, right?
Of course it isn't!
And thus your story begins...

This game is a 2D fantasy game in the style of the early Dragon Quest games made for the casual audience who would like to sit down and enjoy a short adventure in a fantastical land.
Enjoy a massive desert world filled as you travel with your player character, of which can be either male or female, as they journey with a revived anubian warrior who has strong ties with the player. Through this ancient dog will you will find various scenes of the past (many of which are beautifully detailed) and events which will shake the foundations of the desert and its kingdom. All scenes with said characters will be skippable if you do not wish to engage with them, your choice, your prerogative as for how you wish to handle these encounters, with the ability to completely avoid them outright if you so choose.
